A total of 634 tree species are listed in the Swaziland Tree Atlas, which represents just over 17% of Swaziland's indigenous flora. The Atlas has a comprehensive introduction with background information on the country as well as the atlassing project.

The atlas includes synonyms, common names in English and Siswati, and a distribution map for each taxon, as well as information on distribution, abundance, habitat, endemism, Red Data List status, and information on usage. Exotic species are also included.

The detailed index lists accepted family and species names, as well as synonyms and common names.
